Job Description

Key Accountabilities
- Proactively identify, develop, and manage business opportunities across key market segments (travel agencies, wholesalers, consortia, leisure groups, and other distribution channels) to achieve annual room and banquet revenue targets.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with domestic and international travel agencies through sales calls, client meetings, roadshows, and promotional activities, while representing the hotel and the Peninsula Hotels brand.
- Manage the entire sales cycle for FIT and group reservations, including preparing quotations, negotiating agreements, converting leads into business, and coordinating contracts.
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, Operations, and sister hotels to ensure seamless sales processes, maximize cross-selling opportunities, and share market intelligence.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand the agency portfolio, and implement sales strategies to increase market share in line with the hotel's commercial objectives.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and group movements, providing regular sales reports and market insights to support business decisions.
- Contribute to sales action plans, promotional campaigns, special packages, and departmental initiatives while maintaining accurate customer information and supporting continuous business development.
Profile Description
General requirements
- Luxury hotel Sales preferred and or operational hotel experience, proven sales track record a plus.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrates strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of management and colleagues.
- Self-starter, well presented, team-oriented, excellent communication skills, goals and results-oriented.
- Excellent command in spoken English.
