Job summary

Zuma Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Reservations Manager in Turkey to manage reservations and guest experiences in a luxury, high-volume setting. You will oversee booking accuracy, seating flow, and VIP handling, collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.

Ideal candidates will have experience in reservations, excellent communication skills, and fluency in Turkish and English, with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset driving team performance and guest

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations/front-of-house in a high-volume, luxury hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms).
• Fluency in Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer calls to maximize capacity and guest experience, amend bookings and inquiries with professionalism.
• Recognize regular guests and VIPs, monitor waiting lists, maximize seating capacity.
• Maintain reservations system to efficiently confirm, cancel, and adjust bookings.
• Coordinate with front-of-house to ensure smooth seating and flow of service.
• Assist Reservations Manager to oversee the reservations team and uphold high service standards.
• Train and support the reservations team to maintain Zuma’s guest experience.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage customer calls efficiently to maximize capacity and guest experience, amending bookings, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and care
• Recognize and accommodate regular guests and VIPs, monitor waiting lists, and maximize seating capacity to enhance the guest experience
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the reservations system to efficiently confirm, cancel, and adjust bookings as required
• Coordinating with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth seating and flow of service
• Actively work closely with the Reservations Manager to ensure seamless coordination and assisting in overseeing the reservations team, ensuring high standards of communication and service
• Training and supporting the reservations team to maintain Zuma’s exceptional guest experience
