Job summary

Ford Otosan is hiring at our İzmit site to lead design and implementation of efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes for new and existing models. You will work with engineering and production teams to ensure timely readiness while optimizing cost and energy use.

We seek engineers ready to drive continuous improvement, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure safety and quality across the assembly line. Training and development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform feasibility studies for projects in assigned area.
• Organize facility and process arrangements to optimize cost, quality and efficiency.
• Monitor investments to meet capacity requirements and schedule.
• Coordinate with other manufacturing departments and teams.
• Support new project team and guide assembly practices for new models.

Purpose Of The Role & Responsibilities

In line with Ford Otosan's vision of being the most valuable and most preferred industrial company, to ensure that current and future products are designed and mass production activities are carried out with the targeted quality and maximum efficiency. Making process designs in accordance with Ford systems and commissioning intelligent and highly automated process equipment and product. To make the products and new model vehicles ready for production by ensuring that they are put into use at the targeted quality, cost and time.

Main Responsibilities:

• To carry out feasibility studies in projects in the area of responsibility and to make them ready for approval,T
• o implement the necessary facility and process arrangements to ensure minimum cost, maximum quality and efficiency by supporting new vehicle engineering development studies,T
• o follow the investments in order to respond to the capacity requirements,E
• stablishing positive business relationships by ensuring project coordination with other manufacturing departments and factory teamsW
• orking with the engineers of the new project team and supporting the process design process in line with the product design.E
• valuating the new model vehicle design in terms of assembly practices and guiding the new project teamT
• o organize the necessary maintenance activities by following the breakdowns and downtimes in the assembly lines.F
• ulfilling the requirements of the necessary global control plans in order not to compromise on qualityT
• o develop projects that will provide continuous improvement in the reduction of water, energy consumption and hazardous wastes for a sustainable future.T
• o ensure that the requirements of ISO 45001, ISO 1401 and ISO 50001 standards are met for the processes in the area of responsibility.En
• gaging in cost reduction, technology development and process improvement activities for the sustainability of ongoing manufacturingCa
