Tag seeks an Artworker to join our Middle East team!

The Job:
They will be responsible for co-ordinating the development of projects from design to production, including creation and management of production schedules, agreeing key dates and milestones with all parties.
The person will be instrumental in understanding the “client brief” as well as establishing client expectations, then go onto ensuring the overall delivery of all work projects within agreed deadlines. This would involve effective teamwork with the wider Tag team.
This position is customer facing and would involve developing key client relationships along with the delivery of excellent customer service. It is anticipated that the role holder will be required to spend time meeting clients, present status and progress reports, receive and answer queries on the creative and print purchasing process.
The Fit:
- Under the supervision of your Account Manager, perform routine artwork activities, support positive client engagement and relationship building
- Ensure the client receives high quality output for all the work undertaken on their behalf
- Monitor and control work in progress effectively ensuring deadlines are met, systems are kept up to date and the client kept informed
- Work with the TAG Integrated Account Manager & Executive and TAG shared services operations as appropriate to the projects in progress you are involved in
- Identify opportunities to grow and develop the account and share these with your line manager
- Contribute to reports and presentations as requested
- Follow best practice operational processes in accordance with your TAG operations manual, training and management guidance
- Be open minded, participating fully in sessions with suppliers / clients where new/customized print/POSM tools are being considered
The Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years (no university degree required) experience of working in a creativeproduction / print management service related delivery
- Might be working (or have worked) for a POSM print manufacturing company in an artworker role with 3D temporary POSM experience highly desirable
- Should be aware of the artwork specification requirements necessary for print/POS and E-Commerce productions
- Experience of delivering work to tight deadlines
- Experience of pharmaceutical/life sciences or FMCG sectors desirable
- The successful candidate will have a positive outlook and evidence good interpersonal skills
- Would probably describe themselves as highly motivated to deliver excellence / quality work
- Should provide enough reference to their work ethic to demonstrate they are used to completing work that they start – ideally in seeing work through from costing to completion and delivery
- Should evidence high motivation to drive the best deal for the right final productThey will be a team player and evidence good listening skills
- Local market language mandatory plus English (written and oral). Other languages an asset
Software | Workflow experience highly desirable:-
- Adobe CS3 / CS4 [must be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of In-design, Photoshop and illustrator]
- Tag [Client Specific] server location, naming convention, setup and procedures
- CMD time and materials (desirable)
Skills & Knowledge
- Understand the Clients products, branding and markets
- Ability to manage numerous tasks at once and deliver all effectively
- Understanding and application of Tag CMD and internal working /billing processes
- Works as a Strong team player.
- Excellent technical artworking knowledge
- Strong understanding of colour separation, trapping and font management essential
- Verify resolution, size and Client approval
- Verify output against Brief
- Check files for content, colour reproduction, obvious spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Upload of files to FTP/Client Site.
