We are looking for a highly organizedAccount Managerto support our key global clients in the consumer goods sector. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic FMCG environment, is client-oriented and process-driven, and is passionate about both people and performance.
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the client relationship on a daily basis, ensuring full satisfaction across all services. This includes overseeing a team of onsite resources and acting as the main point of contact for commercial and performance matters.
Job Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Act as the primary contact for the client's marketing and purchasing teams.
- Provide support to project managers during the proposal phase.
- Be responsible for drafting new contracts and renewing existing ones.
- Manage the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution and strategic guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the entire scope of the collaboration.
Team Management
- Manage and support a team of 7-8 Project Managers.
- Foster collaboration, efficiency and team wellbeing.
- Provide leadership to maintain performance, motivation and operational fluidity.
Project & Operational Excellence
- Oversee artwork production processes to ensure quality and deadlines.
- Address topics related to the graphic/printing workflow when needed, even when not directly involved in production tasks.
- Ensure strong alignment between internal teams and onsite staff.
Business Analysis & Finance
- Collect and consolidate forecasted project volumes and communicate them internally.
- Manage internal and client-facing billing processes (year-start estimates, invoicing follow-up, financial reporting).
- Produce contractual KPIs and performance dashboards for client and internal monitoring.
- Lead and support initiatives related to process improvements and innovation within the project.
- Bring fresh ideas and propose new ways of working to strengthen the partnership and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in Account Management within the packaging / artwork / prepress / printing industry.
- Strong understanding of graphic production workflows and related processes.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills - ability to build trust and manage complex conversations.
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills; strong sense of empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset (KPIs, dashboards, volume estimations, reporting).
- Experience managing cross-functional or onsite teams is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated involvement in innovation / automation / continuous improvement projects.
