Job summary

The Area Sales Manager at Marel Poultry B.V. will serve as the primary client contact, driving growth of poultry processing solutions across regions. You will collaborate with regional sales teams, implement market plans, and travel to customer sites and events as needed.

You’re a results-driven, English-proficient professional with outside B2B sales experience, familiar with CRM systems and Microsoft Office in a remote, international environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• 3 years' experience in outside business-to-business sales of technical/mechanical systems, preferably with an international company.
• Skills in software such as a CRM system, Microsoft Office.
• Excellent skills in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations.
• Participate in the process of establishing and implementing a structural industry market plan for a region.
• Drive the sales of complex solutions; justify their value and help increase Marel's market share while meeting customer requirements.
• Support and train Account Managers within depth process knowledge.
• Be responsible for realizing sales (targets in volume and achieving the best possible price and market share for complex solutions)
• Be responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (maintaining data in Company CRM systems)
• Collect information on competitors’ activities, installed base, requirements, and developments
• Meet KPI (Key Performance Indicators) goals with sales and margins
