Job summary

Nobel Ilac A.S. seeks an experienced Architect to lead architectural design, planning and execution of investment, renovation and improvement projects at the Düzce Manufacturing Facility.

You will ensure designs meet GMP, regulatory and company standards and report to the Engineering Manager. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture with 5+ years in design, development and on-site execution, preferably in regulated manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design, project development and on-site execution.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma, healthcare, cosmetics) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage architectural design and execution of new investments, renovations and improvements at the Düzce Manufacturing Facility.
• Prepare and review designs for production areas, laboratories, warehouses, offices and ancillary facilities.
• Ensure designs comply with GMP, regulations and company standards; update drawings and docs through construction.
• Coordinate architectural work with mechanical, electrical, civil and other engineering disciplines.
• Oversee specifications, material selections, quantity take-offs and contractor/ supplier activities.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve architectural/technical issues during construction.
• Support tendering, procurement and contractor payment processes and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the architectural design, planning and execution of new investment, renovation and improvement projects at our Düzce Manufacturing Facility, in line with operational needs, GMP requirements, applicable regulations and company standards. You will report to the Engineering Manager.

Which Profile Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design, project development and on-site execution,
• Preferably experienced in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, cosmetics or other regulated manufacturing industries,
• Experience in the design and execution of industrial facilities, production areas, laboratories, offices and ancillary areas,
• Experience in the design and implementation of landscape projects,
• Experience in conducting site surveys, taking field measurements and preparing existing-condition drawings,
• Knowledge of architectural detailing, material selection, technical specifications and quantity take-offs,
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM applications is a plus,
• Ability to coordinate effectively with mechanical, electrical, civil and other engineering disciplines,
• Knowledge of applicable building regulations, fire safety and occupational health and safety requirements,
• Preferably knowledgeable about GMP requirements and cleanroom/controlled area design principles,
• Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving and project management skills,
• Based in or willing to relocate to Düzce,
• A portfolio demonstrating previous architectural projects and clearly indicating the candidate’s role and responsibilities in these projects is required as part of the application.

What You'll Be Doing?

• Managing the architectural design and execution of new investment, renovation and improvement projects at the Düzce Manufacturing Facility,
• Preparing and reviewing architectural designs for production areas, laboratories, warehouses, offices, social areas and other ancillary facilities,
• Ensuring architectural designs comply with GMP requirements, operational needs, applicable regulations and company standards,
• Preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, construction details and technical documentation from concept design through construction,
• Coordinating architectural projects with mechanical, electrical, civil and other engineering disciplines,
• Preparing and reviewing technical specifications, material selections, quantity take-offs and architectural details,Monitoring contractors and suppliers to ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications and quality standards,
• Conducting site inspections and coordinating solutions to architectural and technical issues arising during construction,
• Providing technical support for tendering, bid evaluation, procurement and contractor payment processes,
• Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with defined scope, quality, budget and timelines,
• Ensuring that as-built drawings and technical documentation are accurately prepared, maintained and updated.
