Job summary

Sandvik is looking for an experienced Application Specialist to enhance customer value by aligning our solutions with their needs. The role entails understanding customer requirements in metalworking, providing technical support, and collaborating closely with sales teams to enhance productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least 5 years of experience in cutting tools and machining, and strong English and Turkish language skills. Additionally, extensive travel and a valid driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant fields is required.
• 5+ years of expertise in cutting tools and machining applications.
• Experience with complex technical project management is essential.
• Strong English and Turkish communication skills are mandatory.
• Applicants must have completed military service (males) and have a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions and support sales for customers.
• Recommend products that meet client business needs.
• Analyze customer needs to improve efficiency in production.
• Test applications for customer-specific components.
• Implement projects and secure orders.
• Provide training on product features to clients.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during or after implementation.
• Coordinate between technical and commercial teams.
