About this Position
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to application engineering through laboratory testing, analytical methods, and technical support. You will collaborate with customers, Application Engineering teams, Key Account Managers, and project teams to support technical requests and projects, develop and optimize testing methods, and contribute to continuous improvement in laboratory processes and product performance.
What you´ll do
- Standardize and develop new test methods using a broadrange of analytical techniques, including both destructive andnon-destructive testing
- Leverage customer feedback to drive continuous optimization in customer service and laboratory testing processes
- Track, manage, and document test reports within thelaboratory systems.
- Perform peer reviews of test data and result entries toensure data accuracy and quality
- Participate in test standard validations and supporttraining activities for internal stakeholders (e.g. laboratory personnel,marketing, sales)
- Prepare and deliver internal presentations related totesting methods, standards, and results
- Apply consultative skills when interacting withcustomers to build trust and transparency while managing technicalincidents
- Participate in customer meetings and presentations,providing consultation on best practices relevant to the application field
- Communicate and collaborate closely with ApplicationEngineering field roles, Key Account Managers (KAMs), project teams, andcustomers
- Lead and coordinate internal and external technicalrequests and application-related projects
- Ensure laboratory and application equipment areproperly calibrated and safety-checked in compliance with localregulations
- Collect quotations and procure the necessary chemicalsand equipment for the laboratory.
- Monitor trends in analytical methods and play a keyrole in the laboratory's development.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and ensurethe completion of Corrective Action Plans related to customer complaintsand overall product performance
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
- 2-4 years of related experience, preferably laboratoryexperience
- Ability to work independently, communicate withlaboratory members, and maintain organized records/reports
- Excellent oral and written communication skills inEnglish with the ability to interact effectively with all levels ofmanagement
- Solution-oriented and ability to work as a team
- Advanced user of MS Office applications
