About this Position
DigitalEngineer is responsible for leading the implementation, support, enhancement,and digital transformation of Smart Factory Systems (SFS) across manufacturingoperations. The role drives data-driven decision making through advancedanalytics, machine learning, AI initiatives, and integration of manufacturingsystems with ERP, MES, and OT environments. The position leads cross-functionalteams and manages digital transformation projects that improve operationalefficiency, productivity, traceability, and manufacturing performance.
What you´ll do
- Lead Smart Factory Systems (SFS) and digitaltransformation initiatives across manufacturing operations to improveproductivity, quality, traceability, and operational efficiency.
- Manage the delivery of data analytics, machinelearning, and AI projects that drive business value and supportdata-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, OT,and IT teams to identify opportunities and implement digital manufacturingsolutions.
- Drive the integration of Smart Factory Systems,SAP, MES, automation systems, and enterprise platforms to enable seamless dataflow and process automation
- Analyze manufacturing and business data using Python,SQL, and advanced analytics techniques to generate actionable insights andcontinuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead project planning and execution, including scope,timelines, budgets, resources, risk management, and stakeholderengagement.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, analysts, andexternal partners, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, andtechnical excellence.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reportingframeworks to measure the effectiveness and business impact of digitalsolutions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, cybersecurityrequirements, data governance policies, and project management bestpractices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, machinelearning, advanced analytics, Industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing, andtranslate them into practical business applications.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, SoftwareEngineering, or related disciplines.
- 4-6 years of experience in IT, software development,digital transformation, or related technology roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in software development, custom softwaresolutions, and implementation of new digital systems.
- Proven experience in AI, Machine Learning, and dataanalytics projects, including knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms andtheir practical applications.
- Hands‑on experience with Python and SQL.
- Strong project management experience, includingend-to-end project delivery, cross‑functional coordination, andstakeholder management.
- Leadership experience and ability to collaborateeffectively with local and regional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills withfluent written and spoken English.
