Job summary

App.Tribe is seeking a Software Engineer to turn LLM capabilities into real product features. You will build end-to-end AI/LLM functionality, including agentic pipelines, tool calling, and streaming, with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

You will design backend services in Node.js and TypeScript, using Firebase Firestore, Auth, and Cloud Functions, and collaborate with product and design to take features from concept to launch across web and mobile contexts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on LLM experience in real products.
• Prototype fast with AI dev tools and reason about model behavior.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI/LLM features end-to-end: API integration, prompt design, tool calling, and streaming.
• Make features production-grade: fast, reliable, and cost-efficient.
• Design and maintain backend services in Node.js + TypeScript, using Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Functions).
• Collaborate with product and design to take features from concept to launch.
• Hunt down bottlenecks across backend and inference layers—latency, memory, and model/infra cost.
