Job summary

Arfitect, an AI-first software consultancy based in Izmir, seeks a backend-focused software engineer who builds with AI. You will implement LLM-powered features, RAG pipelines and agent orchestration, delivering production-ready services in collaboration with backend/ frontend teams.

You will work on Python/FastAPI and .NET Core stacks, design robust APIs, and ensure performance, security and observability for enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• At least 1 year building LLM-based features that reached real users.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship LLM-powered features and services - RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, multi-agent workflows, taking ideas from prototype to production.
• Build the APIs and services (Python/FastAPI, .NET Core) through which our applications consume AI capabilities; define contracts with backend and frontend teams.
• Define success criteria for prompts, retrieval and agent behaviour; implement tests and fix failures.
• Engineer for production qualities: latency, reliability, traceability and cost.
• Apply guardrails: outputs, authorization, prompt-injection defenses, data privacy.
• Build reusable components and tools to carry across projects.
• Collaborate with AI R&D to move validated prototypes to production and capture learnings.
• Evaluate models and tools within projects and stay current with the field.
• Deploy and operate AI services on Azure with CI/CD, logging and monitoring.
• Document work and communicate results to team and clients.
