Job summary

Latitude is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed AI Engineer to design and deliver production-grade AI applications directly with enterprise product and engineering teams.

This contractor, full-time, remote position spans Turkey and several other countries, with start ASAP and duration 6+ months, with extension possibilities. You will own the full delivery lifecycle from discovery to production and optimization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong production-level Python expertise.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications in production.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks.
• Experience with React, Next.js or similar frontend tech.
• Experience deploying production apps using cloud platforms, Docker and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, IAM and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business, product and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Design and build AI apps using LLMs, RAG, agents, tool calls and structured outputs.
• Develop agentic workflows using LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex.
• Design retrieval architectures with vector search and embeddings.
• Build robust backend services in Python.
• Develop user-facing AI apps using React/Next.js.
• Integrate AI apps with enterprise APIs and data systems.
• Deploy applications using cloud, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and improve quality, latency, security, and business performance.
• Contribute reusable engineering patterns and components.
