Job summary

Avansas.com in Istanbul (Üsküdar) seeks a Data Scientist to build predictive models for personalization, churn prevention, pricing, and campaign optimization; design and evaluate A/B tests; and analyze large-scale data for growth opportunities.

You'll work with data engineers to deploy models, communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to AI-powered workflow automations. Proficiency in English is required; experience with GA4 is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science or ML
• Strong foundation in statistics and ML
• Experience with recommendation systems, clustering, or time series forecasting
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) and SQL
• Strong interest in emergent AI technologies including Generative AI and LLM-based applications
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly
• Growth-minded with GA4/event analytics experience

• Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and other controlled experiments
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify user behavior patterns, growth opportunities, and operational efficiencies
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with data engineers to deploy and integrate models into production environments
• Monitor, validate, and continuously improve model performance using appropriate evaluation techniques
• Design and implement AI-powered workflow automations to improve operational efficiency and business processes

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field
• Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques
• Experience with recommendation systems, clustering, or time series forecasting
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.) and SQL
• Strong interest in emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and LLM-based applications
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experimentation frameworks
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner
• Product and growth-oriented mindset with experience analyzing GA4 and event-based product analytics data to generate actionable business insights
• Experience building or contributing to AI-powered solutions and workflow automations is a strong plus
• Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures is a plus
• Professional working proficiency in English
