Job summary

TurkNet is seeking an Agile Compliance Partner to join our Legal & Compliance Department and Product Teams in a matrix organization. The role will shape product development with a focus on data privacy, consumer protection, e-Commerce, and ICTA regulations.

You will act as a primary legal leader for product teams, conduct high-priority legal research, assess risks, and provide practical, compliant guidance across telecom, privacy, and related frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
• 8+ years of in-house compliance experience.
• Experience with ICTA regulations, privacy, data protection.
• Ability to lead cross-functional product teams.
• Ability to draft, review and negotiate agreements.
• Strong communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead as primary legal advisor for product teams.
• Conduct legal research on high-priority areas and mitigate risks.
• Provide decisions across telecom, data protection/privacy, consumer protection, e-commerce.
• Stay updated on telecom and IT regulations to guide trends, risks and opportunities.
• Report to Legal & Compliance Department while working with product teams.

General Description

TurkNet is looking for an Agile Compliance Partner to join our growing company who will work in a matrix organization, Legal & Compliance Department and Product Teams.

Agile Compliance Partner will be a key legal leader on product developments, who will shape the product regarding all respective legal fields especially data privacy, protection of consumers, e-Commerce, and ICTA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• You must have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs. In addition, you must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, growing environment, and work proactively.
• Act as a primary legal leader for product teams as a part of such teams,
• Conduct legal research into high priority areas, identifying and evaluating legal risks, and finding creative ways to mitigate them while achieving business goals,
• Provide legal decisions across many subject areas including telecom, data protection/privacy laws and competition, consumer protection laws, e-commerce and other related legal frameworks,
• As being a part of product teams at the same time report to Legal & Compliance Department,
• Stay up-to-date on telecom and information technologies-related regulations and consumer protection and data protection related regulations to provide proactive guidance on trends, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Has a bachelor degree, graduated from reputable universities,
• 8+ years of in-house experience in compliance departments,
• Experience with product or regulatory counseling related to ICTA’s regulations, consumer protection, privacy, data protection is a must,
• Experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, delivering practical advice under pressure and operating within ambiguity,
• Experience taking on projects involving different subject matters, and working with cross-functional organizations,
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements,
• Ability to think creatively, take ownership of tasks and adapt to changing business requirements,
• Have a deep understanding and mindset that will adapt to technical, software and commercial aspects of related products,
• High level of accountability and integrity,
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with people under stressful conditions,
• Strong analytical skills and be able to identify trends and weaknesses and to recommend/take measures,
