Job summary

ING Hubs Türkiye is seeking a data science/AI professional to build Agentic AI solutions for KYC workflows in wholesale banking. You will work on multi-agent systems, entity resolution, and graph analytics, ensuring governance and compliance across ING's international operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data science or ML, hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks, and a strong background in mathematics, CS, engineering, or econometrics.

Build the Next Generation of AI Agents for Wholesale Banking

At ING Wholesale Banking, we're applying Agentic AI to one of the most complex challenges in financial services: KYC (Know Your Customer). As part of ING Analytics Wholesale Banking, you'll build intelligent systems that extract information, assess completeness, resolve entities, and support risk-based decision‑making while meeting the governance and compliance standards required in global banking.

The Challenge

This role combines Agentic AI, machine learning, entity resolution, and graph analytics to solve complex KYC challenges for ING's corporate and institutional banking clients. You'll work within a cross-functional squad to design, develop, validate, and deploy scalable AI solutions that support KYC processes across ING's international operations. Unlike many AI roles focused on generic automation, you'll work on high-impact problems where accuracy, auditability, and trust are critical.

Work Model

At ING Hubs Türkiye, flexibility is more than a benefit — it's part of how we work. Our hybrid working model is designed to balance collaboration, innovation, and personal flexibility. Team members typically come together in our Vadistanbul office for two days per week during three weeks of the month, while one week each month is fully remote. We also offer additional flexibility during August, allowing colleagues to work remotely throughout the month. As part of a globally distributed organization, you'll collaborate with colleagues across multiple ING locations while contributing to large-scale AI initiatives that create impact across the bank.

What You'll Build

You will contribute to: Agentic AI solutions that automate KYC workflows and decision‑support processes. Multi-agent systems built using modern orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK, or similar technologies. Document understanding and information extraction solutions. Entity resolution and corporate ownership discovery capabilities. Network and graph-based analytics supporting risk and compliance investigations. Machine learning solutions applied to complex banking datasets. AI systems developed in line with ING's model governance and compliance standards.

About You

Experience working with Agentic AI and LLM-based solutions. Hands‑on experience with at least one agent orchestration framework such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar technologies. A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field (MSc or PhD is a plus). Strong Python skills. Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, from classical models to modern neural networks. Experience applying Data Science methods to real business problems. Interest in information extraction, entity resolution, graph analytics, and network analysis. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in Wholesale Banking, KYC, AML, financial crime, model governance, or regulated industries will be considered an advantage.
