Job summary

MARTUR FOMPAK International, a global automotive supplier, seeks an experienced Accountant to oversee international accounting and tax processes. The role focuses on VAT refunds for overseas offices, SAP FI coordination, and accurate financial reporting across multi-country operations.

You will work with external advisors, support audits, and help prepare Turkey Master File data while collaborating with IT and cross-functional teams in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in international accounting and tax processes.
• Experience with multi-country structures and external advisors.
• Solid knowledge of SAP FI.
• Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
• 4 years experience, min. 2 years of Big Four experience.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional, and international environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end follow-up of VAT refund processes related to overseas offices and warehouses, including coordination and provision of information to local advisors.
• Monitoring and control of invoice postings in SAP for international operations.
• Review, reconciliation, and assessment of financial statements prepared by local accounting/tax advisors.
• Collection and review of monthly financial reporting packages, ensuring accurate information flow with advisors.
• Providing technical support for international financial processes.
• Performing financial data controls and coordinating necessary corrections.
• Working in close coordination with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of system-related financial processes.
• Supporting statutory audit processes for international entities, including data checks and auditor requests.
• Coordination with advisors during the preparation of Group Transfer Pricing documentation and Turkey Master File.
