Job summary

Qualifications

• MLS is required for consideration.
• 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with academic library systems, electronic resources, and instructional services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instruction services with a focus on continuous improvement and interactive learning.
• Plan, implement, and assess the library’s information literacy plan.
• Develop instructional materials and LibWizard forms.
• Provide instruction on library use and research skills in classroom, online, and reference desk settings.
• Serve as liaison to academic departments for research and collection development.
• Collaborate with faculty on information literacy curriculum development and special projects.
• Participate in university and library committee work.
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging trends through professional development.
