Job summary

Contact One Communications, Inc. is seeking a senior IT infrastructure administrator to support NATO-related networks and data centers. The role demands active NATO SECRET clearance, strong virtualization, AD and patch-management skills, and collaboration with CSU units and service lines.

The candidate will manage Windows/Linux systems, SQL/Oracle databases, Exchange servers, backups and disaster recovery, while contributing to project work and incident resolution in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance required.
• Higher vocational IT training with 3+ years post-related experience or secondary qualification with 5+ years post-related experience.
• Hands-on IT infrastructure management and capacity management experience.
• Practical knowledge of mainstream hypervisors, Virtual Infrastructure and server virtualization.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, GPOs and desktop deployment.
• Experience administering Windows and/or Linux (Oracle, RedHat) systems and SSO.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle DB management.
• Experience with server clustering, storage and backups.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision, install, configure and maintain infrastructure services and components.
• Monitor, measure and report on infrastructure load, performance and security events.
• Assist IaaS systems and resolve data center alerts and errors.
• Manage virtual infrastructure and software frameworks including VMware and SAN.
• Maintain Windows Active Directory services in NATO networks.
• Manage patching for Windows and Linux with SCCM/MCEM.
• Administer COI databases and troubleshoot third-party deployments.

• Assists assigned IaaS systems and resolves alerts and error conditions of Data Centers (Server Room), Storage Area Networks, and Servers,

• Maintains Windows Core Active Directory services and policies in NATO networks,

• Carries out COI database administration, monitors and troubleshoots third party application deployments for COI Services and Databases,
• Responsible for administration of Exchange servers,

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience,
• Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience in IT infrastructure management and capacity management,
• Current in-depth knowledge and recent practical experience of mainstream hypervisors, Virtual Infrastructure, deploying and managing server virtualization technologies.
• Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, Domain Naming, Group Policies and Desktop deployment.,
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience on administration of Windows and/or LINUX (Oracle, RedHat) Operating Systems and Single Sign-On,
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database Management Software,
• Experience in server clustering technology, storage systems and backup systems,
• Experience in the operational business processes of Application Services,
• Server-side scripting (Microsoft PowerShell),
• Experience in in Web platforms and services,
• Demonstrable, excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Working knowledge ITIL best practices.

Desirable Experience And Education

• Practical experience as a Systems or Virtual Infrastructure Administrator in an international environment,
• Proven experience in the support of NATO Logistics COI Services,
• Practical experience in deploying/using/optimizing mainstream Service Management Tools (such as; SCOM, SCCM and Oracle Enterprise manager).
• MCSA/E equivalent - (Microsoft AZ-800/801, DP-300, AZ-204, MD-102).
• ITIL v4 Foundation and Intermediate.
• VMware Certified Professional.
