Job summary

Contact One Communications, Inc. seeks a skilled ITSM and risk management professional to support risk, data modelling, configuration management, and service level governance.

You will apply ITIL practices, oversee change control, and maintain asset registers. Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance is required.
• 3 years post-related experience if higher vocational training, or 5 years post-related with secondary education.
• 3 years of practical experience across all configuration management disciplines.
• Strong technical understanding and experience with IT Service Management tools like BMC Remedy ITSM Suite v9.1+.
• Good understanding of databases (MS SQL, Oracle).
• Experience with ITIL change and configuration management best practices.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes basic risk management activities.

• Maintains documentation of risks, threats, vulnerabilities and mitigation actions.

Data modelling and design

• Applies standard data modeling and design techniques based upon a detailed understanding of requirements.
• Establishes, modifies and maintains data structures and associated components.
• Communicates the details of data structures and associated components to others using the data structures and associated components.

Configuration management

• Applies tools, techniques and processes to track, log and correct information related to configuration items.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience
• 3 years of practical experience across all the configuration management disciplines in a configuration management role.
• Very god technical understanding and experience working with various IT Service Management related tools and technology (like BMC Remedy ITSM Suite v9.1 and above)
• Good understanding of infrastructure solutions hosting Service Management tools and technology, including understanding of market leading database solutions (including but not limited to MS SQL and Oracle)
• Practical experience with ITIL change and configuration management best practices
• ITIL Foundation Certification is desirable
