Job summary

ACE Games is seeking a skilled 2D Game Animator to join the Tom & Jerry game team. You will combine Unity expertise with Technical Art and strong 2D animation skills to build gameplay animations inside the game.

You will also create 2D Spine character animations, work on shaders and materials, and produce high-quality visuals for mobile gameplay, collaborating closely with artists and developers.

Qualifications

• Experience using Unity to build and polish gameplay animations inside the engine.
• Proven ability to create high-quality 2D animations using Spine.
• Strong understanding of Technical Art workflows in Unity and shader/material work.

Responsibilities

• Create and polish boosters, obstacles, and gameplay animations inside Unity.
• Implement, test, and iterate animations in the game.
• Create and adjust materials, shaders, and real-time VFX in Unity.
• Support visuals with particles, trails, masks, distortion, glow and transitions.
• Work with Unity timelines, prefabs, and asset pipelines for animation.
• Create 2D Spine animations for characters and illustrations and prep rigged assets.
• Optimize animations and assets for mobile performance.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to iterate quickly.
