Job description

Cooper Games is a mobile game studio building hybrid casual puzzle games: easy to pick up in seconds, deep enough to keep players coming back for months. Founded in 2026 and based in Ankara, we’re a small, focused team with one goal: create games worth losing time in.

We believe great puzzle games are built for endurance. That means satisfying mechanics, clear visual language, and the kind of polish that makes every piece feel just right when it falls into place.

The Team

You’ll join Cooper Games in its early days, as one of the people defining what our games look and feel like. You’ll work closely with game designers and developers on our puzzle titles, with real ownership over the visual direction from the first prototype to the live game.

In puzzle games, art isn’t decoration, it’s gameplay. Players need to read the board instantly, feel every move, and enjoy every reward. Your work will be central to making that happen.

Role
  • Create high-quality 2D and 3D game assets, including puzzle pieces, boards, props, and environments, in a vibrant, premium hybrid casual style.
  • Design and implement clean, scalable UI, from concept to final integration in Unity.
  • Bring assets into Unity: set up prefabs and materials, and handle lighting, shading, and optimization for mobile devices.
  • Create satisfying visual feedback, animations, and particle effects that make puzzle interactions feel rewarding.
  • Build and maintain a visual style guide and reusable asset libraries as our games grow.
  • Work with game designers to make sure visuals support gameplay, readability, and accessibility.
  • Produce art for marketing creatives and store assets when needed.
  • Iterate quickly based on team feedback, playtests, and live player data.
Profile
  • A strong portfolio showcasing stylized 2D and 3D art, ideally for mobile, casual, or puzzle games. (Portfolio is required.)
  • Proficiency in Blender (preferred), Maya, or 3ds Max, and in Photoshop or similar 2D tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Unity, including the prefab workflow and material setup.
  • Solid understanding of color, shape, light, composition, and visual hierarchy, with a keen eye for readability on small screens.
  • Experience with low-poly modeling, UV mapping, and texturing; animation and particle FX skills are a plus.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up concepting and asset creation.
  • A genuine love for mobile puzzle games and the ability to deconstruct what makes top titles work.
  • An ownership mindset, good communication, and a team-first attitude.
Why Cooper Games
  • Shape the visual identity of a studio from the very beginning.
  • A small, close team where your ideas are heard and your work truly matters.
