Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a Marine Mechanical Engineer to design and analyze mechanical systems. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, supervising installations, and developing maintenance programs. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has 1-2 years of relevant experience. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply. Overtime may be required in this permanent, full-time position.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Supervision responsibility for 1 to 2 people.
- Specialization in drafting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems.
- Design power plants, machines and equipment.
- Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
- Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems.
- Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs.
- Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
- Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance.
- Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates.
- Develop risk management plans.
