Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop the Sealsuite application proxy and security gateway, delivering a scalable, high-performance system for global clients. You will drive Zero Trust, Secure Web Gateway, CASB, and AI security features across international teams.

The role requires strong programming skills (C++, Go, Java, or Rust), Linux experience, and proven success in high-concurrency networking environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in C++, Go, Java, or Rust; familiarity with databases, caching, queues.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals with focus on code quality.
• Experience in Layer 4/Layer 7 proxy, security gateway, or VPN development for high-concurrency networks.
• Self-motivated with teamwork and customer-oriented mindset (B2B).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the application proxy and security gateway architecture for Sealsuite, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Drive feature development and optimization for Zero Trust, SWG, CASB, and AI security solutions across global teams.
