Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated social work professional to support students during curriculum time, assess needs, and implement de-escalation strategies within a school setting.

You will build trust with students, conduct outreach for at-risk individuals, and provide ongoing support after disciplinary incidents, coordinating with school staff while avoiding direct parent contact.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for incidents during curriculum time.
• Conduct initial assessments of students' needs and well-being.
• Implement immediate de-escalation strategies.
• Support students during meltdowns to reintegrate back to class.
• Build trust and rapport with students.
• Conduct proactive outreach to students needing support (e.g., truancy, isolation, peer issues).
• Provide long-term check-ins and support after disciplinary incidents.
• Provide progress reports to SH/SWB; elevate critical concerns to HOD/SM or SH/SM.
• Work closely with school staff to relay information (no direct parent contact).

Hours: Mon & Wed 10:00am–6:00pm; Tue & Thu 8:00am–4:00pm; Fri 8:00am–12:30pm
