Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Youth Worker Associate for Gracehaven Children's Home in Singapore. You will engage residents in holistic activities, provide guidance and supervision, and act as a positive role model to youths.

Key duties include developing care plans, conducting assessments, delivering group work, mentoring residents, and coordinating with partner agencies. Shifts include morning, afternoon, and night, with care standards and safety policies enforced.

Qualifications

• At least a diploma, preferably in Youth Work, Social Services, or related fields.
• Able to work Morning, Afternoon, and Night shifts.
• Able to engage and mentor youths effectively.
• A good communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop case and care plans for youths.
• Implement assessment frameworks and approaches for casework and group work.
• Conduct casework interventions and group work.
• Organise crisis management with partners and agencies.
• Deliver programs independently and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Manage volunteers in program delivery and supervise residents.
• Ensure care standards and safety policies are followed.
