Job summary

SPH MEDIA LIMITED's Chinese Media Group seeks a Multimedia Editor cum Videographer to lead editing of video and audio content for our Young Audience platforms, HeyKaki and ZBSchools. You will craft visual storytelling, create motion graphics for web and mobile, and collaborate with content producers to develop concepts from ideation through post‑production, filming, and asset management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia/Video Production or equivalent.
• Proficiency in video editing with 2–3 years of experience.
• Experience with videography or video production is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong visual storytelling ability and creativity; willingness to add innovative elements.
• Chinese language ability to read and understand Chinese content.
• Up-to-date with social media trends and content styles.
• Interested in producing engaging content for young adult audiences.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble high-quality visual and audio materials, ensuring strong visual storytelling, clarity, creative quality, and consistency.
• Creation of motion graphics for web and mobile video content.
• Work closely with content producers/reporters to generate creative content and video/podcast concepts.
• Contribute to the full content production process including ideation, storyboarding, filming, and post-editing.
• Assess filming locations and determine the appropriate camera setups, lighting and equipment required for content production.
• Independently set up and dismantle cameras, audio equipment, lighting, microphones, and props.
• Managing all relevant video assets including video content and footage archiving.
