Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Engineer - PIE to work on yield improvement in wafer fabrication. You will analyze yield data, understand Fab processes, and apply device physics to resolve issues.

You will collaborate across YE groups, publish Pareto analyses, and support transfer of next-gen tech to production. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of yield data analysis, Fab processes and their effects/signatures on yield/device.
  • Uses knowledge of semiconductor device physics, electronics and manufacturing to explain and resolve yield issues using statistical/data analysis tools.
  • Communicates the process/tool related yield toggles to the Fab process areas and supports them in fixing the process/tool.
  • Creates/participate in multi-area focus teams to solve sophisticated yield problems.
  • Publishes a clear Pareto of yield limiters on their specific part type.
  • Supports transfer of next generation technology from Research & Development to production Fab as needed.
