Surbana Jurong is seeking a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to develop, implement, and maintain safety programs in line with Singapore WSH legislation and industry best practices. The role focuses on fostering a strong safety culture, minimizing risks, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Key responsibilities include policy development, risk assessment, compliance, inspections, incident investigations, emergency planning, and training.

Qualificações

• Experience in workplace safety and health, with MOM registration preferred.
• Knowledge of WSH legislation, codes of practice, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and review WSH policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend control measures to mitigate hazards.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations and company safety standards.
• Carry out safety inspections, audits, and workplace monitoring.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare emergency response and business continuity plans.
• Organise WSH training and safety briefings.
