Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is hiring an experienced Safety Officer (WSHO) to oversee site safety, compliance, and environmental health for construction projects across islandwide sites in Singapore.

The role requires registered WSHO with ECO certification and a minimum of 5 years in HDB or commercial construction, with a Diploma in Engineering or OSH. Strong regulatory knowledge and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO with ECO certification mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HDB or commercial construction.
• Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Health, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of local WSH regulations and compliance standards.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety policies.
• Review and improve Safety Management Systems in line with local legislation.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and WSH committee meetings.
• Perform site audits, inspections, and risk assessments; enforce safety rules and take corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders on safety matters.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and submission of safety records.
• Work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate safety and environmental risks.
