Job summary

WISE SAFETY & HEALTH PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a qualified Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to conduct regular inspections, identify unsafe acts and conditions, and advise on improvements across projects.

You will review risk assessments, safe work procedures, and permit-to-work requirements, monitor on-site controls, and liaise with clients, contractors and authorities. The role requires reporting, meetings, and a 5.5–6 day work week.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO with MOM (Singapore).
• Able to prepare clear and professional reports.
• Experience in construction, facilities, infrastructure or project-based environments advantageous.
• 5.5 or 6 day work week

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and areas for improvement.
• Advise management, project teams and contractors on compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, Regulations and applicable Codes of Practice.
• Review and provide advice on Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Method Statements and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
• Monitor site activities and ensure appropriate WSH control measures are properly implemented and maintained.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare WSH inspection reports, incident reports, statistics and other required safety documentation.
• Conduct or support toolbox meetings, safety briefings, Safety Time-Outs and other WSH awareness programmes.
• Attend and support WSH Committee meetings, project meetings, audits and inspections where required.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities on WSH-related matters.
• Support internal and external WSH audits and continual improvement initiatives, including follow-up and closure of safety findings.

• Relevant experience in construction, facilities, infrastructure or project-based environments will be advantageous.
