Job summary

WETECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an EHS Officer in Singapore to oversee workplace safety and health, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves developing and monitoring EHS programs and conducting regular site safety inspections.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field and must be a registered WSHO with MOM. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry is required, along with excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Willing to work night shift based on site arrangement.

• Liaise with Project Managers on workplace safety.

Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities

• You will liaise closely to the Project Managers on workplace safety, health to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
• Develop, implement, and monitor company EHS Programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conducts regular site safety inspection and enforce compliance of prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations
• Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct monthly Safety committee meetings.
• Continuous improvement on EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards
• Review and maintain site's environmental, health and safety records.
• Carry out training to all workers, staff, and site personnel on EHS.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Environmental, Health and Safety or relevant courses
• Must be registered WSHO with MOM.
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in a construction industry.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills, and a “can-do” attitude
• Able to communicate with people of all levels.
• Willing to work for night shift (Depends on Site Arrangement)
