Job summary

CHAN & CHAN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an EHS Officer in Singapore to oversee workplace safety and health. You will liaise with Project Managers, implement EHS programs, and conduct regular safety inspections.

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field and a minimum of two years' experience in the construction industry. Registration as WSHO is mandatory. Join us to ensure compliance and enhance site safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Environmental, Health and Safety or relevant courses.
• Registered WSHO with MOM required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities

• You will liaise closely to the Project Managers on workplace safety, health to maintain a high level of safety at the sites
• Develop, implement and monitor company EHS Programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conducts regular site safety inspection and enforce compliance of prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations
• Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations
• Conduct monthly Safety committee meetings.
• Continous improvement on EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards
• Review and maintain site's environmental, health and safety records.
• Carry out training to all workers, staff and site personnel on EHS

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Environmental, Health and Safety or relevant courses
• Must be registered WSHO with MOM.
• Mininum 2 years relevant working experience in a construction industry.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
• Able to communicate with people of all levels
• Willing to work beyond working hours when required
