Job summary

China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to develop and implement HSE plans in line with guidelines.

You will prepare policies, enforce safety culture, monitor compliance, inspect equipment, and lead training on accident prevention. The role requires MOM WSHO registration with at least 10 years post-registration experience on LTA projects, strong leadership, and the ability to work independently with a proactive attitude, including long hours

• Registered with MOM as WSHO with 10+ years post-registration experience on LTA projects.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; willing to work long hours.
• Ability to work independently with a positive attitude.

• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
• Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
• Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
• Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics

Requirements

• Registered with Ministry of Manpower as WSHO and have at least 10 years of post- registration and practical experience in LTA project.


• Possess good leadership and organizing abilities and prepare to work long hour


• Able to work independently with positive attitude
