Job summary

BAYES RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Safety, Health, and Environment (WSHE) professional to lead the project WSHE initiatives. You will implement and monitor safety systems, coordinate with authorities, and drive environmental management on site.

The role requires WSHO registration, Level C safety certification, and 5–10 years of main-contractor experience, with preference for projects involving LTA/PUB or government agencies.

Qualifications

• Degree or Level C Safety certification is required.
• Must be registered WSHO with MOM; ECO advantageous.
• 5-10 years of prior experience in a main-contractor environment.
• Experience with LTA/PUB or Government projects is a key criterion.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, review and provide recommendations for improvement of safety on WSHE systems for the project.
• Advise the project management team on risk analysis, controls and regulatory updates; monitor and implement risk controls to prevent injuries and ensure safety standards.
• Handle authorities on spot checks, feedback and neighbouring estates’ concerns.
• Maintain WSHE records and liaise with relevant authorities.
• Identify training needs and conduct WSHE training sessions.

Job description

• Implementation, monitoring, assist in reviewing and provide recommendations for improvement of safety on Workplace Safety & Health and Environmental Management Systems at work for the project.
• Advising the project management team on risk analysis, controls, and updates to legislation related to workplace safety, health, and the environment. Monitoring and implementing risk controls to prevent injuries and damage, ensuring standards for fall protection, and promoting the saving, recycling, and reuse of resources, energy, and materials.
• Handle Authorities on all spot check, feedbacks and resident / neighboring estates’ complaints / feedbacks
• Maintain WSHE records and liaise with relevant authorities.
• Identify training needs and conduct WSHE training sessions.
