Job summary

MOTOR-EAST PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Workshop Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.

You will lead a team of technicians, maintain equipment, enforce safety, and implement BYD HQ or distributor policies within the workshop.

This role requires strong planning, organizational skills, and a hands-on, result-driven approach to optimize production resources and 6S on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience in managing workshop operations and inventory.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Process-driven, highly motivated and results-oriented.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Implement BYD HQ or DISTRIBUTOR Auto-related policies and management requirements.
• Responsible for workshop scheduling, overall planning and coordination of workshop production resources, and improving production efficiency.
• Manage, calibrate and maintain shop equipment.
• Responsible for workshop maintenance quality control.
• Assess and evaluate the performance of workshop personnel.
• Responsible for on-site 6S management in the workshop.
