Job summary

AKK TH3X (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a workshop supervisor with at least a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. The role focuses on managing a fleet of machines, overseeing maintenance, and leading a skilled mechanics team.

You will ensure safety compliance, supervise tool usage, and drive productivity. Daily and weekly reports are required to keep the Managing Director informed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience supervising mechanical teams and workshop operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet of machines, equipment, and vehicles and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Lead and train mechanics for in-house repairs and servicing.
• Supervise machinery usage and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports for the Managing Director.
• Drive workshop efficiency and productivity through strong leadership.
• Occasional 6–7 day workweeks as required.

• At least diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years experiences in managing steel or construction workshop or any heavy industry workshop, experiences in repair and maintenance of machinery.
• To manage fleet of machines, equipments and vehicles, to schedule preventive maintenance and to attend to repairs and to train and lead mechanics for in-house repairs and servicing.
• Have specific knowledge of electrical to supervise the usage of machinery and to ensure all safety measures and compliance regulation are strictly adhere to
• Have working knowledge of supervisory and leadership principles, operate and manage the full spectrum of the workshop operation and function, motivate and lead the workshop team to achieve the desire result and productivity output
• Daily and weekly reporting to Managing Director.
• To work 6 days per week. May required to work 7 days a week in certain occasions.
