Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Corporate Services Policy and Planning professional in Singapore to lead policy research, development, and strategic planning across workplace services, real estate, catering, security, and related functions. You will partner with regional teams to design evidence-based policies and measurable initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

• Solid project or program management experience with cross-regional collaboration in a matrixed org.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Mandarin, with travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Policy Research and Assessment: research and analyze policies and regulations to identify gaps and opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
• Policy Development: develop data- and evidence-based policies, guidelines, and initiatives that support growth and employee experience.
• Strategic Planning and Performance Monitoring: support regional teams in developing plans and frameworks aligned with policy initiatives.
• Define measurable success metrics and KPIs, monitor progress, and prepare management reports.
• Business Partnership and Advisory: partner with business and operations teams to provide advice and scalable solutions.
• Product Development and System Optimization: collaborate with Product teams on systems supporting Workplace and Corporate Services.
• Lead requirements gathering, design, planning, implementation follow-up, and continuous improvement to drive digitalization.
• Data Management and Impact Assessment: use data analysis to evaluate policies and establish monitoring mechanisms.
• Project Management: lead end-to-end planning, execution, and review of projects.
• Change Management: lead transformation initiatives with effective communication and training.

Responsibilities

The Corporate Services Policy and Planning team focuses on policy development, research, strategic planning, data analytics and program management. We support the business by elevating and creating unique employee and corporate service experiences, specifically our operational teams. Our team focuses on implementing industry knowledge across our global portfolio, providing specialist advice and business partnerships on multiple projects and innovative ideas.

This role will help provide focused support on strategic programmes related to the corporate services and the employee experience, specifically programs related to workplace services, real estate, catering services, physical security, and others.

• Policy Research and Assessment: Research and analyze relevant policies and regulations based on business needs, identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend practical solutions.

• Strategic Planning and Performance Monitoring: Support regional teams in developing strategic plans and frameworks aligned with policy initiatives.

• Business Partnership and Advisory: Partner closely with business teams, operations teams, and business leaders to understand their needs and provide professional advice, co-creating systematic, practical, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience collaborating with or managing teams in a diverse and multicultural environment.
• Solid project or program management experience, with a strong understanding of cross-regional collaboration within a matrixed organization.
• Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin, as the role will collaborate closely with the R&D stakeholders based in China.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualification(s)

• Relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, corporate real estate, workplace or facilities management, corporate services, or a related field.
• Experience in hard services facilities management, building operations, mechanical and electrical systems, or an engineering-related discipline.
• A proactive mindset and demonstrated interest in driving business innovation, with openness to change and new challenges.
• Prior experience in people and vendor management.
