Job summary

Tencent WorkBuddy is seeking a Developer Ecosystem Business Development Manager based in Singapore to accelerate growth of a global AI ecosystem. You will identify, acquire, and enable developers, SaaS providers, AI startups, data providers, and technology partners to build and integrate capabilities into WorkBuddy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in ecosystem development, partnerships, or SaaS partnerships.
• Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, SaaS integrations, AI apps.
• Experience building partnerships with software vendors, ISVs, AI startups, data providers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Singapore or international markets; strong regional network.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to collaborate with global partners.

• Develop partnerships to integrate products via APIs, Skills, MCP, and future applications.
• Drive ecosystem growth across industries and markets including financial services, legal, education, healthcare.
• Own onboarding journey, including enablement, launch planning, and partner success management.
• Translate partner requirements into platform capabilities with Product and Engineering teams.
• Create scalable partner programs and reference partnerships replicable across markets.

About the Role

Tencent WorkBuddy is seeking a Developer Ecosystem Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of our global AI ecosystem. Based in Singapore, this role will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and enabling developers, SaaS providers, AI startups, data providers, and technology partners to build and integrate capabilities into the WorkBuddy platform. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Ecosystem teams, you will help establish a thriving developer ecosystem by expanding WorkBuddy's Skills, APIs, MCP integrations, and future application marketplace, enabling partners to deliver innovative AI-powered experiences to enterprise users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and onboard high-quality developers, SaaS companies, AI startups, data providers, professional service providers, and technology partners to expand the WorkBuddy ecosystem across international markets
• Develop strategic partnerships that enable partners to integrate their products and services into WorkBuddy through APIs, Skills, MCP, and future WorkBuddy Applications, enriching the platform's capabilities and user value proposition
• Build and execute ecosystem growth strategies by identifying priority industries, developer communities, and technology partners across sectors such as financial services, legal, education, healthcare, enterprise software, and productivity tools
• Own the end-to-end partner onboarding journey, including partnership development, technical coordination, solution integration, enablement, launch planning, and ongoing partner success management
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate partner requirements into platform capabilities, improve developer onboarding experiences, and continuously optimize ecosystem infrastructure
• Develop scalable partner programs, collaboration frameworks, and operational mechanisms to drive long-term ecosystem growth while creating successful reference partnerships that can be replicated across global markets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, business development, platform partnerships, developer relations, or SaaS partnerships
• Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, SaaS integrations, AI applications, platform business models, or enterprise software ecosystems, with experience working alongside developers or technology partners preferred
• Experience building partnerships with software vendors, developer communities, ISVs, AI startups, data providers, or enterprise technology companies is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to independently establish and grow strategic partnerships
• Experience working in Singapore or international markets is preferred; an existing network within developer communities, SaaS companies, AI startups, or enterprise technology ecosystems is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin to collaborate effectively with global partners and China headquarters
