SWATOW RESTAURANT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Cook 炒锅 / 帿锅 to join our kitchen team.

The role focuses on wok-fried dishes and seafood cuisine, requiring strong wok-handling skills and the ability to sustain quality and speed during busy periods. You will prepare Chinese cuisine, maintain hygiene, and work as part of a team across rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Candidates should have 2-3 years of relevant experience and a valid Food Hygiene

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine and/or Live Seafood cuisine.
Must possess good frying and wok skills.
Comfortable to work in a food court environment.
Responsible, hardworking, and able to work as a team.
Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
Physically capable of fast-paced and warm kitchen environment.
Possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook Chinese cuisine and Live Seafood dishes according to company standards.
Perform frying, wok cooking, and food preparation efficiently.
Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
Assist in food preparation, cutting, marinating, and ingredient handling.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Ensure proper storage and handling of seafood and ingredients.
Support kitchen operations during peak periods.
Follow kitchen safety and food hygiene procedures at all times.
Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
