Job summary

DARKIE TRADING CO PTE LTD is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue and market presence in wholesale and distribution of plasticware, kitchenware, and household products.

You will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, supervise the sales team, and coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely fulfilment and profitability. Strong leadership, negotiation, and market analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in sales, preferably wholesale/distribution of plasticware, household products.
• Experience supervising or managing a sales team is preferred.
• Strong understanding of wholesale pricing, distribution channels and key account management.
• Excellent sales, negotiation and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Manage and expand customer base including wholesalers, retailers, distributors and corporate customers.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities and distribution channels.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the sales team to meet targets.
• Assign territories and monitor performance of sales staff.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, price lists and promotions.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers within guidelines.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, logistics and warehouse teams.
