Job summary

INTERTEK MANPOWER RESOURCES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced welder to join our team in Singapore. The role involves stainless steel and aluminum welding using TIG and MIG, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety standards are followed on the shop floor.

You will need to operate and set up various welding machines, with experience across manufacturing, construction, and pipe projects. Strong teamwork, leadership potential, and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in stainless steel and aluminum welding using TIG and MIG.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety measures and safety-related training.
• Experience with welding and cutting processes.
• Experience operating multiple welding machines.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction and pipe industries.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and also lead a team.
• Knowledge of welding and different metal types.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety measures; participate in safety-related training and coordination.
• Instruct personnel on welding procedures and workflows.
• Read blueprints and set up welding operations accordingly.
• Operate and adjust multiple types of welding equipment as required.
• Collaborate with team members and supervise where needed.
