Job summary

Greenwave Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a hands-on supervisor to assist the Factory Manager in supervising the welding-focused production team and workers. You will oversee quality, plan daily operations, and ensure safety guidelines are followed across the factory floor.

You will also manage materials flow, stock accuracy, and coordinate with overseas suppliers to source better materials and cost savings. Strong independent work ethic and ability to meet tight timelines are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Construction Engineering or equivalent.
• Welding knowledge is mandatory.
• Must be a responsible team player with the ability to work independently under challenging projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Factory Manager by supervising the factory/production Team Leaders and workers, focusing on welding parts for quality and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to industry-standard health and safety guidelines with weekly WSH safety meetings.
• Oversee daily work plans, PPE, goods arrival, and unloading to ensure smooth, timely operations.
• Maintain accurate Team Leaders records of materials in/out and keep stock inventory up to date.
• Organize and maintain factory storage and smooth inventory movement.
• Assist sourcing cost-effective materials from overseas and liaise with suppliers for stock replenishment.
• Assist purchasers to source materials overseas.
