Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a skilled welder to join our fabrication team in Singapore. You will weld stainless steel, read and interpret drawings, assemble components, and ensure welded parts meet quality standards while operating equipment safely.

Must have relevant working experience; a high school diploma or equivalent is required and a welding certificate is preferred. You may work in flat, vertical, or overhead positions and may be asked to work on weekends or public

Qualifications

• Experience in stainless steel welding is preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints and designs.
• Must have relevant working experience.
• Have at least high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A valid welding certificate is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on stainless steel materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble, weld, and fabricate stainless steel structures or components.
• Inspect and ensure welded parts meet quality standards.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment safely.
• Experience in stainless steel welding is preferred.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.

• Perform welding on stainless steel materials;


• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints;


• Assemble, weld, and fabricate stainless steel structures or components;


• Inspect and ensure welded parts meet quality standards;


• Maintain and operate welding equipment safely;


• Experience in stainless steel welding is preferred;


• Assist with other tasks assigned by the supervisor;


• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job;


• Maintain and repair all machinery;


• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors;


• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes;


• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature;


• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.


• Avoid danger during work.


• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)


• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps


• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety


• Co-ordinate with fitter and supervisor for job instruction.


• Must have relevant working experience.


• Have at least high school diploma or equivalent qualification.


• A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.


• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.


• Outstanding attention to detail.


• Avoid danger during work.


• Must accept work on weekends/PH.
