Job summary

TEX-STAR ENGINEERING SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Engineer specializing in welding and metal fabrication works. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in welding processes, able to interpret WPS, and conduct quality inspections.

This position involves coordinating with production, QA/QC, and customers to ensure compliance with project specifications. Candidates with experience in the fabrication industry who are independent and responsible are preferred.

Job Scope & Requirements:

• Well versed in welding processes, fabrication, and metal working parts
• Able to interpret and review WPS (Welding Procedure Specification)
• Experience in assisting and coordinating WQT (Welder Qualification Tests)
• Familiar with welding quality standards and inspection requirements
• Able to undertake basic project management and coordinate welding-related production planning
• Conduct in-house NDT inspections and follow up on welding quality matters
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and customers on technical and quality requirements
• Ensure welding works comply with project specifications and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fabrication / metal works industry
• Independent, responsible, and able to work closely with operations team
