Job summary

PaxOcean Singapore is seeking an experienced welder to perform high quality welding onboard vessels and in Pipeshop, following WPS. The role requires 2+ years of marine experience and a 6G carbon steel certification.

You will operate auto-welding machines safely, adhere to safety procedures, and report any defects to your foreman. WSQ safety qualification is required and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in Marine & Maritime industry.
• Competent in WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Shipyard (General Trade).
• 6G welding certification (minimum) in Carbon Steel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for good quality welding on assigned tasks.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of auto-welding machines.
• Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness.
• To ensure personal safety and others inclusive.
• In due diligence, to report any defects found on any tools and equipment to their foreman/supervisor.
• Always maintain good housekeeping and safety at all the time onboard vessel & workshop.
