Job summary

NRA Engineering (SG) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Welding/Engineering technician to perform welding tasks, including pre-welding and post-welding processes, grinding and gas cutting, and to read job instructions and technical drawings.

You will coordinate engineering jobs from start to finish, liaise with other departments, external sub-contractors, and customers to meet timelines and quality standards while ensuring safety compliance on site.

Responsibilities

• To carry out welding activities, including pre-welding and post-welding processes as well as grinding, polishing and gas cutting
• To co-ordinate engineering job from start to finish and drive progress to meet timeline and quality requirements with other departments, external sub-contractors, and customers. The work may or may not include welding.
• Anticipate all process and quality issues; and check that all quality requirements are met
• Read Job Instructions, technical manuals and Technical Drawings
• Check compliance to safety requirements at work
