Job summary

Nardev Builders in Singapore is seeking an organized welder supervisor to read technical drawings, manage welding activities on site or workshop, and ensure compliance with WPS and project drawings.

The role requires experience up to 2 years in mechanical work, strong communication, and proficiency with MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinders, gas/plasma cutters. Join a hands-on team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Min. 0-2 years mechanical work experience.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
• Familiar with MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller, etc.
• Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.
• Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with WPS and project drawings
• Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
• Support training and qualification of welders in line with company and industry standards.
• Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.
