Job summary

NARDEV BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled welder/ supervisor to interpret technical drawings and ensure welding procedures are followed on site or in the workshop. The role involves coordinating daily welding activities and maintaining accurate records.

Candidates should have 0–2 years of mechanical work experience, be proficient with MIG/TIG/Stick welding and related tools, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure quality and safety on projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
• Familiar with welding tools: MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller, etc.
• Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials and consumables per specs.
• Maintain records of welder qualifications, weld logs and inspection reports.
• Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop per Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and drawings.
• Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially hot work and confined spaces.
• Support training and qualification of welders per company and industry standards.
• Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.

• 2.Familiar with common tools: MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller & etc.
• 3.Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
• 4.Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.
• 5.Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings
• 6.Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
• 7.Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
• 8.Support training and qualification of welders in line with company and industry standards.
• 9.Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.
