Job summary

VVV EMPLOYMENT AGENCY is seeking a skilled welder in Singapore to perform manual and automatic welding following Welding Procedure Specifications. You will read blueprints, set up and operate MIG, TIG and arc welders, and carry out grinding, fitting and surface preparation tasks.

Qualifications

• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and safety rules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and welding symbols.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment (MIG/TIG/Arc).

Responsibilities

• Carry out manual and automatic welding per WPS.
• Perform grinding and fitting works for welding.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols accurately.
• Set up, operate and maintain MIG, TIG and arc welders.
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces; cut and align pieces.
• Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
• Assist with equipment upkeep and housekeeping.

Job description

To carry out manual & auto welding process as per Welding Procedure Specifications
Perform grinding & fitting works associated with welding process.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment like MIG, TIG, and arc welders.

Prepare and clean metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and aligning pieces.
